Over at dvdbeaver.com (you
might need to cut and paste the url) there's an extensive and very positive
review of the JUNIOR BONNER Blu-ray which will be officially released in the USA on 31 October.
It’s one of director Sam Peckinpah's lesser known films and,
IMO, one of the best American releases of the 1970s. A modern Western from the
master that is closer in tone and feeling to RIDE THE HIGH COUNTRY and THE
BALLAD OF CABLE HOGUE...three films which showed Peckinpah was much more than a
skillful purveyor of screen violence.

The BR is from Kino Lorber and looks to be packed
with extras. The audio commentary is from the Peckinpah "posse" and
is a port of the old MGM disc, but one of the best commentaries on a Peckinpah
movie. It looks like the wait has been well worthwhile.
